Health Education
Shenandoah Community Health believes in preventive health care and patient education. Not only can you expect one-on-one attention from your health care provider, SCH also participates in a nationwide health care collaboratives. Patients receive extensive support, specially designed treatment plans, and individual/group education programs. 

Prenatal patients are afforded a variety of classes to choose from. Our childbirth series and baby care classes are taught by certified childbirth educators and are offered several times throughout the year. Contact Misty Warren at (304)263-4999, Ext. 1021 or click here for more information.

Interpretive Services
Shenandoah Community Health offers for our patients multi-lingual interpretation and assistance for the hearing impaired. 

Laboratory Services
Our facilities in Martinsburg and Winchester have onsite laboratory services for the convenience of our patients.  Each is equipped to offer an array of tests from routine screenings to in-depth diagnostic studies.   After the most rigid inspections, our laboratories have maintained COLA certification as well as certification through the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act.  Our technicians are certified and licensed through the Department of Health and Human Services.   

Medication Assistance

Social Services Assistance
SCH employs licensed social workers to help our patients coordinate service to local agencies and organizations according to your specific needs.  For more information about these services, please speak with your health care provider.

Transportation
If you need assistance to and from your SCH appointment, please ask about available options when scheduling appointment.
